I have been a supporter and user of the Shaka Gold Card, and think that this is a valuable tool for tourists. There are many activities available for discounted prices. The Shaka card gives you complete info about the activity and makes it easy to navigate to the vendor. I have used this card extensively for the last 7 or 8 years. The nominal fee for the yearly membership is well worth the price. I would be surprised if this card was thought to be non-essential, and discontinued. Please keep the Shaka Gold Card around for the future tourists that can take advantage of this.
